Dave and Anisha met in London, in March 2023. It was a party, organised by their shared friend Srushti. Both of them figured if they shared that connection, the other was probably a decent person, and started chatting.

After a few gatherings, board game evenings and birthday parties spent together, they realised they were becoming more than just friends, and Dave asked Anisha out on a date.

On August 14th, 2025, Dave took Anisha to the cocktail bar at the top of the shard. They watched the sunset together, and admired the view, before he got down on one knee and proposed. She said yes, with such enthusiasm, she’d put the ring on before he had a chance to do it himself!
